Ada Mae Medders

Ada Mae Medders age 94 of Pace, MS passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS. 

Ada was born in Alabama to Amos Fountain and Lela Pounders Fountain. She grew up in Eupora, MS moved to the Delta in the early 1950's. Ada was married to the late Robert Medders. She was of the Baptist faith. Ada was a homemaker, a loving mother, and a grandmother who will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by Robert Medders (Spouse), Amos Fountain (Father), Lela Fountain (Mother), Richard Fountain, and Johnny Fountain (Brothers). She is survived by her children Irene Johnson, of Little Rock, AR, Helen Noland of Peoria, IL, Patsy Newsom of Milan, TN, Robert Medders or Rosedale, MS, Loretta Bivens of Rosedale, MS, sister Reba Holmes of Indianola, MS, 8 grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, 28th of February, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services for Ada will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery. Reverend Jerry Hatcher will officiate the services.

Pallbearers are Paul Medders, Robert Medders, Joseph Medders.

Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ada's family during this difficult time.
