Agnes May Hammonds

CLEVELAND - Agnes May Dial Hammonds, age 73, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Friday June 02, 2017 at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Visitation will be held  Monday, June 5, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery. Reverend Clarence Edwards will officiate the services.

 She was born on April 5, 1944 to Floyd and Florence (Dodd) Dial in Iron City, TN.  She was married to the late Roosevelt Hammonds.  Agnes was a Bolivar County resident for almost 50 years. She loved to play bingo, cards and watch Western movies. Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew her. 

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Florence Dial, husband Roosevelt Hammonds, brothers; J D Dial, James Dial, Hershel Dial and sisters; Frances Dial, Juanita Dial and Margaret Dial.

  She is survived by Daughter, Kathy Davis of Cleveland, MS; Son, Johnny Hammonds of Cleveland, MS; Son, Joey Hammonds of Navarre Beach, FL; Brother, Russ Dial of Rock Hill, NC.  6 grandchildren; Rick Davis, Josh Davis, Kerri Harpole, Candi Hammonds, Brian Hammonds, Austin Hammonds and Todd Hudson. 1 Great-grandchild, Jaden Hammonds. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hudson, Little Rick Davis, Joshua Davis, Brian Hammonds, Austin Hammonds, Tommy Dial.
