Annie"Ann" Rose Frazier

Annie Rose "Ann" Griffith Frazier has passed away at the age of 93. She found peace in her home in Cleveland on June 13, 2023. Ann was born on June 3, 1930, in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi, to loving parents John C. Griffith and Susan Ella Hemby Griffith. She graduated from Clem High School and later moved to Cleveland in 1948.

Ann was an office assistant for Southern Bell and later BellSouth, she dedicated herself to a lifelong career spanning over three decades. Despite a busy work schedule, she managed to find time for social engagements where she assisted organizations such as the Telecom Pioneers, American Legion Auxiliary, and First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Her thoughtful and caring nature endeared her to many.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents John and Susan Griffith, husband John W. Frazier, and ten siblings: Marvin Griffith, Noah Griffith, J C Griffith, Paul Griffith, Houston Griffith, Buford Griffith, Lee G. Roberts, Katie G. Herrington, Ola (Peggy) Stanford, Linnie G. Polk; as well as fourteen nieces and nephews.

Surviving Ann is her Sister-in-Law Ruby Griffith of Collins MS; sister-in-law Ruby Kemp of Cleveland MS; caretaker Shirley G. Smith of Cleveland, MS, twenty-three nieces and nephews who will fondly cherish her memory.

A graveside Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Monday June 19 at the North Cleveland Cemetery at ten o'clock in the morning. A memorial service will be held on July 17 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Cleveland. Reverend Brad Beckwith will officiate the services.

Pallbearers are Bill Griffith, Henry Griffith, Ricky Stanford, Chris Stanford, Charles Dana, Woddie Beach, Levi Smith, Brett Moorman, Charlie Harrol Duck and Brad Roberts. The honoroary pallbearers are Cameron Dakin, Tom Holder, Herbert Griffith, Kenneth Griffith, Paul Griffith, Randy Bounds, Bobbie Stanford and Joe Smith.

In lieu of flowers or gifts to family members please consider making donations to Batson's Children's Hospital or the Baptist Children's Home.

Cleveland Funeral Home is honored with the arrangements for this memorable life that brought joy and comfort to those who knew her.
