Billy E. Naron, age 62, of Cleveland, died on Saturday March 13, 2010 at the St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. He was born on February 12, 1948 to Ephraim and Irene (Mize) Naron in Bolivar County, MS. Billy graduated from Cleveland High School and Delta State University. He married Linda Hitt on March 27, 1970 in Grenada, MS. He was farmer with E.L Naron and Sons farms from many years. He was also associated with Thomas Action Company and owner-operator of Equipment Exchange. Billy was also an avid horse rider having ridden many trail rides and a longtime member of Mid-Delta Horse Association where he did many barrel racing and showmanship events. He was a longtime member of Farm Bureau and a member of Morrison Chapel Baptist Church. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 16, 2010 from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Morrison Chapel Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS. Burial will follow at North Cleveland Cemetery. The Rev. John Thomas, Dr. Macklyn Hubbell and Rev. Steve McMillan will officiate the service. He is survived by Wife of 40 years, Linda Hitt Naron of Cleveland, MS. Two sons; Bill Naron of Cleveland, MS and Jonathan Naron of Cleveland, MS. 2 Granddaughters; Lyndsi and Lanie Naron of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Betty and husband Tommy Barrett of Cleveland, MS. Brother, Tommy and wife Memorie Naron of Cleveland, MS and a Sister-in-Law, Nancy Henderson of Jackson, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Henderson. Pall-bearers are Jim Pat Johnson, Tony Thomas, Danny Taylor, Charles Smith, Mike McCain, Bob Wright, Herbert Word, Dan Bell and Bruce Butrum. Honorary pall-bearers are Billy's longtime school friends; Paul Lindsey, Joey McCain, Galen Givens, Reed Givens, Wylie Hilburn, Kenneth Mallette and Terry Russell.
