Bonnie Mae Redd, aged 72, of Memphis, Tennessee, peacefully departed from this life on Thursday, October 7, 2024, at her cherished home.
Born on April 12, 1952, in Cleveland, Mississippi, Bonnie was the beloved daughter of Vester Redd and Ethel Lou Johnson Redd. She spent her formative years in Cleveland, where she graduated from Cleveland High School before pursuing further education at Delta State University. Bonnie dedicated many years of her life to serving as an Internal Revenue Agent, a role in which she excelled until her well-deserved retirement.
A true lover of life, Bonnie embraced each day with zest. She had a profound affinity for animals, particularly her beloved cats, and was known for her kind and compassionate nature, touching the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
Bonnie is survived by her loving sister, Liz Redd, of Cleveland, MS, who will carry forward the memories of their shared times together.
In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Cleveland, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Bonnie's memory by making donations to any animal shelter, reflecting her deep love for all creatures great and small.
