Carol Worbington Weaver

MAYFLOWER AR- Carol Marie Worbington Weaver age 75 of Mayflower Arkansas formerly of Cleveland and Greenville, Mississippi passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her home in Mayflower.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 Pm at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi. Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 Pm in the Lakeview Cemetery in Greenville, Mississippi. Reverend James Wilcott will officiate the service.

Carol was born on August 9, 1946, to Bob and Mary Ethel Regan Worbington in Scott, Mississippi. She grew up in Scott, Mississippi, and at an early age moved to Greenville, Mississippi, where she received her education. She married James Mancil Weaver on December 5, 1963, together they had two children Angie and James Mancil Weaver, Jr. "Bubba". They lived most of their life in the Greenville and Cleveland area.
Carol worked for a short time in the textile industry, her main focus in life was raising and taking care of her family. She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Carol was a spunky little lady that loved to sing, dance, and joke around. She absolutely loved babies and basically anyone she met! She was very loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Mary Ethel Worbington, husband, James Mancil Weaver, son James Macil Weaver Jr. "Bubba", brother Bobby Worbington, sisters, Betty King and Mary Ann Homan. and grandson Jacob Burke.

Carol is survived by her daughter Angie Alford, granddaughter Cassie Taylor (Larry), four great-grandchildren, Kylar Taylor, Zayne Taylor, Lakyn Taylor, Saryn Taylor all of Mayflower Arkansas, and a brother Phillip Worbington (Connie) of Tenessee. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish her memory.

Pallbearers are Larry Taylor, Kylar Taylor, Zayne Taylor, and Charles Taylor. The honorary pallbearer is Phillip Worbington.
