RULEVILLE - Carolyn Dale Walker Pannell, age 70, of Ruleville, passed away on Saturday September 05, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be held Monday September 7, 2015 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Lehrton Cemetery. Reverend Larry Chouccoli will officiate the services.
Carolyn was born on January 31, 1945 to Clyde and Dale (Welch) Walker in Ruleville. She married Douglas Pannell on November 06, 1993 in Kokomo, MS. Carolyn was the customer care representative for Tollison Insurance Agency for over 20 years. She was a member of Dockery Baptist Church.
Carolyn loved working in her garden, collecting dolls, traveling and going to flea markets. She loved her grandchildren, sisters and family enjoying spending as much time as she could with them. Carolyn had many friends and will be missed by them all.
She was preceded in death by her father Marion C. Walker, a brother Danny Keith Walker and a son Robert Keith Morgan.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 21 years, Doug Pannell of Ruleville, MS. Son, Kenny Morgan of Cleveland, MS. Son, Al McCool of Ruleville, MS. Mother, Leona Dale Welch Walker of Ruleville, MS. Sister, Nell Labella of Columbus, MS. Sister, Clytele Lawrence of Greenville, MS. Sister, Annette Lofton of Greenville, MS. 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are her grandsons Derek Morgan, Cambrin Morgan, Ty Morgan, Austin McCool, Kyle Sibley and Nathan Cummins. Honorary pallbearer is Tommy Pannell.
