Clarksdale, MS- Charles Edward (Charlie) Thomas, Jr. 58 of Clarksdale passed away Saturday February 18, 2012 at his home. Memorial service will be held 2:00pm Monday February 20, 2012 at Tutwiler Baptist Church.The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service at Tutwiler Baptist Church. His brother Rev. John Arthur Thomas will officiate the service. Charlie was born September 7, 1953 in Cleveland, MS to Charles and Jean Bridges Thomas. He attended West Tallahatchie Schools and Delta State University. Charlie was an electrician for Cotton & Edwards Electrical for many years and was most recently employed with Standard Industrial. He is survived by his wife Tammy Childress Thomas of Clarksdale, Two daughters Jennifer Jordan Thomas of Clarksdale and Hayden Leigh Angay of Atlanta, Ga. Son Dalton Grant Young of Carrollton. Parents, Charles Edward and Jean Bridges Thomas of Tutwiler.  Two sisters Marsha Burnett and husband Jeff of Vicksburg and Sandy Gammon and husband Dan of Knoxville, TN. one brother John Arthur Thomas and wife Leigh Ann of Cleveland, MS.
