LELAND - Cinda Lou Vanhorn, age 63, of Leland, MS passed away on Monday August 15, 2016 at her home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from Noon until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. Celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jonathan Toler will officiate the service.
She was born on January 07, 1953 to William and Lilly Belle (Gooden) Harrell. As a teenager she moved to Leland, MS and started her life with Joseph Wayne Vanhorn on July 19, 1972 in Leland, MS. Cinda worked at Greenville Christian School for 7 years. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved the Lord and was a faithful servant her whole life. She would go to different churches preaching and praying for people. She would feed the homeless. Cinda loved to make bows and wreaths, she also enjoyed sewing.
Cinda was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Lilly Belle Harrell and her daughter, Tammy Vanhorn.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Vanhorn of Leland, MS. Son, Eddie (Lori) Vanhorn of Leland, MS. Brother, Prentiss Harrell of Portland, AR. Brother Rodger (Marleen) Harrell of Kosciusko, MS. Sister, Glenda (Benny) Swain of Kosciusko, MS. Sister Paullette Hougus of Leland, MS. Sister, Bobbie (James) Fuller of Isola, MS. Brother, Ricky (Darlene) Fuller of Leland, MS. Sister, Brenda Whatley of Leland, MS. 2 Grandchildren; Candace (Landon) Boudreaux of Leland, MS and Christy Vanhorn of Clarksdale, MS.
Pallbearers will be James Clolinger, Gordon Ford, Landon Boudreaux, Michael Harrell, Hunter Funderburk, James Fuller and Josh Ware.
