Darlene Eubanks

Virgina Darlene Eubanks, age 72, of Cleveland, MS, peacefully passed away on Monday, 12, 2024, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Batesville, MS.

She was born on February 14, 1952, to Issac and Connie Hays McNeer in Arizona. Darlene spent her formative years in the MS area and graduated from Cleveland High School. Her thirst for knowledge led her to Mississippi Delta Community College, where she received her RN Degree.

Throughout her career, Darlene dedicated herself as a Registered Nurse at Bolivar Medical Center, touching the lives of many patients with her care and compassion until her retirement. Beyond her profession, she found joy in nurturing her garden, cultivating flowers, and engaging in word puzzles and reading. Her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister brought warmth and love to her family.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Connie McNeer her husband Timothy Eubanks, her son Joseph Killingsworth, and her grandson Kade Givens. She is survived by her daughter Connie "Dee" Givens (Jon) of Boyle, MS, her son Jamie Killingsworth of Cleveland, MS, stepchildren April, Karen, Amber, and John Eubanks, her brother Raymond McNeer (Angie) of Cleveland, MS, her grandson Lance Givens, along with a multitude of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor Darlene's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS, officiated by Reverend Larry Braswell.

Those honored to carry Darlene to her final resting place as pallbearers are Lance Givens, Caleb Givens, Jon Givens, John Eubanks, and Jamie Killingsworth.

The compassionate team at Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Darlene's family during this time of mourning.
