Earl Huskey, Sr

SHAW - Earl Dean Huskey, Sr. age 73, of Shaw, MS passed away on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS. Earl was born on November 16, 1942 to Daniel and Stella (Fountain) Huskey in Webster County, MS. He was born in Webster County and had lived all over the Delta and in the McComb area where he worked on a dairy farm. He had also worked as a pulp wood hauler and farmed for many years. Earl loved to play his guitar and socialize with friends.
He is preceded in death by sisters; Shirley Faye Leopard, Mary Jane Ray, Elsie Barnette and a brother James Huskey.
Visitation will be held, Saturday June 18, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Interstate Baptist Church Cemetery in Shaw, MS. Reverend Lee Kirk will officiate the service.
Earl is survived by his wife, Anna S. Huskey of Shaw, MS. Son, Earl Huskey, Jr. of Drew, MS. Daughter, Carol Harvey of Coffeeville, MS. Daughter, Stella Brown of Cleveland, MS. Son, Matthew Huskey of Parchman, MS. Son, Shane Huskey of Boyle, MS. Sister, Patsy Weeks of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Susie Weeks of Greenwood, MS. Sister, Edith Downs of Merigold, MS. Sister, Jettie Vaughn of McGee, MS. Brother, Eddie Huskey of Greenville, MS. 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are James Fields, Randy Travis, Shane Huskey, Jr., James Huskey, Wesley Huskey and Matthew Huskey, Jr.
