Edna Massey

Edna Pritchett Massey age 84, of Greenville, passed away on Friday August 24, 2012 at the Indywood Personal Care Home.  She was born on February 7, 1928 to Henry R. and Eugenia (Holland) Ashmore in Grenada, MS.   She spent her early years and attended school in the Grenada and Mathiston communities. She was formerly employed at the Sterling's Store in Shelby, Ms and later Misceramic Tile in Cleveland, MS and Nicholson File in Greenville, MS. She also had her own cake decorating business for many years. Edna loved nothing better than being surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 41 years, M.T. (Dick) Pritchett, one brother Luther Ashmore, two sisters, Erma Tollison and Dillie Holland.  Visitation will be held Sunday August 26, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, MS. Rev. John Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers are Rob Litton, Chris Hays, Ren Pritchett, Paul Michael Pritchett, Brian Lloyd, Corey Litton and Roger Holder.   She is survived by Spouse, J. R. (Ren) Massey of Greenville, MS.  5 Daughters, Sandra Litton of Lake Village, AR. Sharyn Hays of Cleveland, MS,  Susie (Jimmy) Dudula of Greenville, MS, Lynda (Doug) Meredith of Turlock, CA. and Pam (Lewis) Phillips of Pontotoc, MS.  One son, Larry (Janice) Pritchett of Liberty, MO. 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren Memorials may be made to St Jude Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
