Esperanza Perez Palacios

SHAW - Esperanza Perez Palacios, age 75, of Shaw, Ms, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.

She was born on December 06, 1945, to Trinidad Perez and Erlinda (Soliz) Vasquez in Robstown, Texas. She moved to Mississippi as a baby. She attended Skene, Mississippi Schools and Graduated from Skene High School. Esperanza worked as a lab technician at Baxter's Laboratories for over 25 years until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed gardening, jewelry shopping, flea markets, antiques, and cross-stitching. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her father, Trinidad Perez, stepfather, Francisco Vasquez, mother Erlinda Soliz Vasquez, sisters, Sylvia Vasquez, Gloria Edwards, brothers, Melio and Frank Vasquez.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a rosary at Cleveland Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with a Mass to follow at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Shaw, Mississippi. Father Kent Bowlds will officiate the services.

She is survived by her life partner, Eddie Heriberto Rodelo, Daughter, Patricia (Gabriel) Moncada of Shaw, MS. Daughter, Mary Christina Moncada of Cleveland, MS. Daughter, Amanda Palacios Partridge of Shaw, MS. Brother, George (Lisa) Vasquez of, Somerville, TN, Sisters, Mary (Tommy) Edwards of Charleston, MS, Alice (Matt) Northen of Carthage, NC. Nine grandchildren, Jase Partridge, Eric Partridge, Charley Brooke Partridge, Ana Moncada, Jessie Moncada, Kevin Moncada, Cande Manrriquez, Jessica Manrriquez and Nicolas Manrriquez, and a great grandchild, Jameson Russell.

Pallbearers are Kevin Moncada, Gabriel Moncada, James Russell, Nicolas Manrriquez, Danny Soliz, and Shane Partridge. Honorary pallbearer is Tommy Dial.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital or Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
