CLEVELAND- Geneva Fratesi Kelly age 75 of Cleveland, MS passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, March 21, 2022, at Cleveland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Cleveland Cemetery. Brother Larry Weaver will officiate the services.
Geneva was born February 23, 1947, to Phillip Fratesi and Lillian Velma Strawbridge Fratesi in Cleveland, MS. She was a former line worker for Color Tile for over 15 years. She married James Kelly on July 1, 1988, in Cleveland.
Geneva loved taking care of her grandchildren, sewing, making dresses, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Velma Fratesi, and her husband, James Kelly.
She is survived by her sons, Phillip Andrew Strickland of Cleveland, MS. James Earl Kelly (Zel) of Richland, MS, Mark Kelly (Sandy) of Richland, MS.
4 grandchildren, Dewayne Kelly, Cassie Kelly Rivers, Phillip Strickland, Jr. (Blair), and Samantha Davis (Ethan), 12 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, and extended family.
Pallbearers are, Micheal Aguzzi, Chris Hudson, John Buck, Bobby Holder, Nick Weaver, and Robert Grimes.
