Greg W Weaver

Mr. Gregory Wayne Weaver, age 57, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on December 8, 2024, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Greg was born on October 31, 1967, to William (Bill) Weaver and Marion Langston Weaver in Cleveland, where he spent his childhood and received his education. A proud graduate of the Class of 1985 from Cleveland High School, he later pursued further studies at Mississippi Delta Community College, earning an Associate of Science in Mechanics. Greg dedicated many years of his life to the family flooring business, Weaver's Flooring, working alongside his father until health challenges necessitated his retirement.

Among his many passions, Greg had a deep love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows, sharing both his enthusiasm and knowledge with friends and family. He was a devoted caregiver to his parents and was universally regarded as a kind, gentle, and caring man.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Langston Weaver, and his sister, Lynn Weaver. Greg is survived by his wife Billie Jean McClain Weaver of Starkville, MS, sons David Weaver (Kaylee) of Cleveland, MS, and Joseph Weaver of Starkville, MS; his father, William (Bill) Weaver of Cleveland, MS; his grandchild-to-be, Connor Weaver; his nieces and nephews, Mari and Thomas Winters, Katie Teer and Makaela Warren as well as a multitude of other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Horton will officiate the service.
