Guy Newsom age 98 of Starkville, MS passed away Saturday, September 26, 2021, at the Starkville Manor Nursing Home in Starkville, MS.
Graveside Funeral Service for Guy will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Cleveland, MS. Reverend Greg Chamblee will officiate the services.
Guy was born March 26, 1923, to Robert and Addie (Adilene) Newsom in Arkansas. He was a farmer and fisherman by trade.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gordy, Sterling, Harry Lee, Pasley, Ernest, and sisters, Mareen and Gertrude Newsom.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
