Helen Elizabeth "Beth" Lamb Worbington

Helen Elizabeth "Beth" Lamb Worbington 78 of Boyle, MS passed away on March 11, 2025, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Beth was born September 19, 1946, to Jim Tom Lamb and Ila Burton Lamb on the farm in the Litton Community, where she grew up and lived all but a short time her whole life. She graduated from Shaw High School. She married the love of her life Thomas Worbington, on March 8, 1968. Beth had an extensive career of over 40 years at the local factories in Cleveland, Baxter, Color Tile, D & L, and finally Duo-Fast. Beth enjoyed spending holidays with the family, she had a passion for playing computer games, and she felt her most significant accomplishment was raising a wonderful daughter and granddaughter. Beth also enjoyed taking care of her 3 feline friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Jim Tom and Ila Lamb, husband Thomas Worbington, and siblings; MS, Ralph Lamb, Bettye Cohen, Glynn Lamb, Andrew Lamb, Kent Lamb, Mabel Pigatti, Bobby Lamb, and Terry Lamb. She is survived by her daughter Lee Worbington Saxon of Ruleville, MS, granddaughter Samantha Saxon of Cleveland, MS, siblings; William Harold "Bill" Lamb, of Litton, Sue Sneed of Memphis, TN, Jim Tom Lamb Jr., of Texas, Sarah Cato, of Windsor SC, Maxine Gibson of Gulfport, MS, and Bonnie Wigington of Shaw, MS. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later time. Sonya Hall will speak words of encouragement to the family.
