Hetty Jane Irby

CLEVELAND - Hetty Jane Irby, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018 at the Bolivar Medical Center. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from noon until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Rev. Clarence Edwards will officiate the services.

Hetty was born on March 3, 1948 to Herbert and Eleanor(Johnson) Irby in Shaw, MS. She lived in several other states growing up. Hetty loved to watch westerns, coloring, workbooks and putting together puzzles. She loved drinking RC Cola and eating candy. Hetty loved being around family and friends.

Hetty was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Lee Irby and Eleanor Elizabeth Irby; brothers, Earl Irby, Bud Irby, Bowe Irby, Roy Irby, Charlie Irby, Robert Irby, Jim Mayfield; sisters, Alene Johnson and Minnie Johnson.

Hetty is survived by Son, Jerry Irby of Merigold, MS; Brother, Bobby Irby of Merigold, MS; Brother, Frank Irby of AZ; Sister, Betty Samuel of TX; Brother, H.L. Irby of Little Rock, AR. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Irby, Sr., Dustin Irby, Enrique Ferrtiz, Edgar Rodelo, Earl Husky and R.J. Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Irby, Bobby Irby, Jr., Jose Ferrtiz and David Ray, Jr.
