Ilah McGovern Pate

Cleveland - Ilah Mary McGovern Pate, age 78, of Cleveland, died on Monday October 27, 2008 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven, MS. She was born on April 14, 1930 to John and Bertha (Ussery) McGovern in Merigold, MS. Mrs. Pate attended schools in Merigold and graduated from Cleveland High School. She was a retired Vice-President for Cleveland State Bank having been a faithful employee for 54 years. She was a life long member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church and a founding member of the Young at Heart Group. She was preceded in death by her husband William Robert Pate. Visitation will be held Tuesday 10/ 28/ 2008 from 6pm till 8 pm at the Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland with a prayer service to be held at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 10/29/2008 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS. Burial will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Martha Jackson of Oxford, MS. and Allie Margaret Stover of Southaven, MS. Two granddaughters, Mary Lynn Stover of Southaven, MS and Katie Stover of Southaven, MS. Pallbearers are Michael Campbell, Bobby Corley, Coy McGovern, Jr. Ronnie Aguzzi, John Aguzzi, and Ronald Swafford. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
