Jamie Dorsey

BOYLE - Jamie Renee Dorsey, age 34, of Boyle, passed away on Saturday May 14, 2011 at the University Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born on August 31, 1976 to Donald and Brenda (Pearson) Grimmer in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Jamie grew up in Gunnison and was a graduate of the 1995 Class at West Bolivar High School.  She loved children and had aided many children in the Gunnison and Rosedale area for several years. She was a devoted loving Wife, Mother, Daughter and Aunt who will be greatly missed. Jamie was preceded in death by a son Kayden Ja'Kari Dorsey.Visitation will be held Wednesday May 18, 2011 from noon until 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus in Skene, with a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00PM at the Church of Jesus.   Burial will be at the Beulah Cemetery. Reverend Phyllis Milan and Gale Walt will officiate the services.  She is survived by Husband, Tarrence Dorsey of Boyle, MS. Mother & Step-father, Brenda & Jimmy Nethery of Gunnison, MS. Daughters, Kirsten Adams of Boyle, MS and Amari Bell of Boyle, MS.  Brother, Brad Fielder of Hollywood, CA.  Grandparents, JW & Montez Pearson of Gunnison, MS.  Uncle, Duane Pearson of Cleveland, MS.  Uncle, Lamar (Debbie) Pearson of Holcomb, MS. Cousins, Hayden & Tyler Pearson of Cleveland, MS.Pall-bearers will be Damion Moore, Kailo Moore, Christopher Dorsey, Calvin Williams, Dameon Shaw and Carey Estes. Honorary pall-bearers will be Richard Lee Estes and Jason James.In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Jamie Dorsy fund at State Bank & Trust.Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
