Jeffrey Keith Duke

 

Jeffrey was born March 30, 1965, to Claude Vernon and Susan Hudspeth Duke in Greenville, MS.

He grew up in Cleveland and attended Cleveland Schools. He married Beth Bennett in August of 1989 at First Baptist Church in Cleveland. 

Jeff received a welding certification degree from Mississippi Delta Community College. He was a former AT&T employee and retired from Direct TV where he had obtained the supervisory position. Jeff was an avid hunter, he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing on tv, BBQ cooking contests, four-wheeler riding, doing bodywork on vehicles, and seeing after his family. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Cleveland. Jeff was a loving son, husband, father, and brother who will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Claude Vernon Duke.

 

Jeff is survived by his wife of 32 years Beth Bennett Duke of Cleveland, MS, daughter, Morgan Duke of Cleveland, MS, son Jason Bowen of Cleveland, MS, mother, Susan H. Duke of Cleveland, MS, sister, Renee Metcalf of England and 3 grandchildren, Eli, Masen, and Lexi.

 

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
