Joe Posey

Joe Hunter Posey, 71, of Cleveland died Monday June 13, 2011, at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville.
Joe was born August 8, 1939, to Joe Lee and Modena (Lott) Posey in Inverness. He was a Cleveland High School graduate and had attended Delta State University. Mr. Posey was a former truck driver for over 20 years until he began his career with the United States Postal Service where he was a valued employee for nearly 30 years until his retirement. He was a former Cleveland volunteer fireman, a former national guardsman and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kirby Dean Posey
He is survived by his wife 18 years Martha Hiler Posey of Cleveland; four daughters; Paige Posey and husband Mark Warwick, Palette Posey and husband Jeff Butler, Lora and husband Chuck Carlley and Jenny Halford; son, Mike and wife Vickie Halford; two sisters; Jackie Posey Clark and Pug Posey and husband Sid Woolf; brother, Jerry and wife Lyn Pose; grandchildren, Graham and wife Bryttani LeMeunier, Tucker and Hunter Warwick, Michael Couey, Devin Halford and Camryn Halford; and one great-grandchild Avarie LeMeunier.
A memorial service for friends and family will be announced at a later date by Cleveland Funeral Home.
