Johnny Martin Moseley, aged 65, of Boyle, MS, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2025, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born on May 29, 1959, in Rolling Fork, MS, to Charles Martin Moseley and Rosie Upton Moseley, Johnny spent his early years traveling throughout the Delta due to his family's work in construction. He attended various schools, including those in Rolling Fork, and dedicated much of his life as a farmhand at Lyon's Farms. While his work was important to him, Johnny found joy in fishing and playing video games. Known for his quiet demeanor, he was a devoted son who always prioritized the well-being of his mother.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Charles Martin Moseley. He is survived by his beloved mother, Rosie Upton Johnson of Boyle, MS; his son, Kevin Moseley of Eupora, MS; his daughter, Shasta Walls of Searcy, AR; and his brothers, Victor Moseley (Missy) of Greenbrier, AR, Michael Moseley (Teresa) of Cleveland, MS, and Tim Moseley (Sharon) of Cleveland, MS. He also leaves behind his cherished granddaughter, Breanna Moseley of Eupora, MS, as well as a special nephew, Layton Borgognoni, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service honoring Johnny’s life will take place at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at H.O.P.E. Church, located at 201 S. Bolivar Avenue, Cleveland, MS 38732. Reverend Crocket Kennedy will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to H.O.P.E. Church at the address mentioned above.
