Josephine P. Lindsey, age 73, of Cleveland , passed away on Sunday September 11, 2011 at the University Medical Center .  She was born on March 27, 1938 to Camilo and Benita (Garcia) Palacios in Shaw.  She married Louis Dexter Lindsey on May 03, 1969 in Cleveland .  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Boyle.  Mrs. Lindsey was a retired press operator for Douglas & Lomason having worked there for 26 years. She was a loving wife and wonderful partner to her husband and loved her daughter and grandchildren very very much. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, walking, and being outside tending to her rose garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Julian Palacios and two sisters, Mary Palacios and Ramona Soliz. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 14, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy in Boyle. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at Church of God of Prophecy in Boyle.  Burial will be at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens . Bishop Wilburn Brock will officiate the services.    She is survived by Husband of 42 years, Dexter Lindsey of Cleveland , MS .  Daughter, Lisa A Lindsey Torres of Cleveland, MS. 6 Brothers, Fred Palacios of Cleveland, MS, Nick Palacios of Cleveland, MS, Mike Palacios of Cleveland, MS, Pete Palacios of Hobbs, NM, Paul Palacios of Hobbs, NM, Joe Palacios of Cleveland, MS.  Sister , Frances Edwards of Cleveland , MS .  3 Grandchildren, Dolores Torres and companion Carmelo Moncada, Monica Torres and John Torres all of Cleveland , MS .  4 Great Grandchildren, Gracie Moncada, Nathalia Moncada, Hazel Moncada, Ivan Moncada all of Cleveland , MS . She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and extended family member Stephanie Ricks of Winona .   Pallbearers are Jorge Garcia, Florencio Ybarra, Jessie Palacios, Jose Moncada, Jose Rojas, Sr., and Jesus Moncada. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Cannon and Jose Rojas, Jr.   Memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy building fund 626 Jane St. Cleveland , MS 38732 Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
