CLEVELAND - Joshua Layne Peacock, age 42, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday October 1, 2015 at the Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 7, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday October 8, 2015 in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville. Reverend Greg Chamblee will officiate the service.

Josh was born on April 17, 1973 to James and Carolyn (Lampey) Peacock in Cleveland, MS. He graduated Cleveland High School in 1991. Josh worked with his father jumping from limb to limb as a tree surgeon with Peacock Tree Surgery most of his life. He married Kathryn Marie Cole Peacock on November 1, 2008 in Carthage, TN. Josh loved to be outdoors, fishing, hunting, mud riding and spending time with friends and family. He was the type of man that when you met him you would never forget him. His easy going, yet wild personality was one that you fell in love with or did not want to run into again. Josh was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend who will be missed by those he loved and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father James Edwin Peacock, Two brothers, Sharmon Peacock, Willie Peacock, sister, Janet Peacock Ventura.

Josh is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Cole Peacock of Cleveland, MS. Three daughters, Katelyn Grace Peacock of Carthage, TN, Kathryn Yvonne Peacock of Cleveland, MS and Lauren Ashley Peacock of Greenville, MS. Son, Joshua Layne Peacock, Jr of Cleveland, MS. Mother, Carolyn Lampey and husband Patrick Jackson of Carthage, TN. Brother, Butch and wife Tammy Peacock of Boyle, MS. Sister, Donna Peacock of Shaw, MS. Brother, Danny and wife Anji Peacock of Rogers, AR. Brother, Dayne and wife Madison Peacock of Fayetteville, AR. Sister, Victoria Jackson of Carthage, TN. Sister, Marilynn Peacock and husband Keith Hewitt of Cleveland, MS. Brother, Terry and wife Debbie Coffindaffer of Copperas Cove, TX. Brother, Temple and wife Lauren Coffindaffer of Kansas.

Pallbearers are Joey Burney, Frankie Hamilton, Kevin Turner, Dennon "Rooster" Wood, Ben Jordan and Billy Horne. Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Malone, John Scruggs, Brad Lamb and Billy Perry, Jr.
