Karen Tarver

Cleveland—Karen Griffith Tarver, age 61, of Cleveland, MS passed away on Thursday January 5, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM at Cleveland Funeral Home. Graveside service will immediately follow the visitation in the New Cleveland Cemetery. Rev. Artie Nute will officiate the service.

Karen was born December 6, 1955 to Joe A. Tarver and Margie Griffith Tarver. She graduated from Bayou Academy. Karen believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was of the Baptist faith.

Karen is survived by her mother Margie Griffith Tarver, her father Joe A. Tarver, her brother Mike Tarver (Cindy), Kelly Tarver Berry & Chris Tarver (Colleene).

Pallbearers will be Brad Roberts, Bill Griffith, D.A. “Bubba” Brown, Ronnie Roberts, Craig Roberts and Houston Griffith.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38501 or to the charity of one’s choice.
