Kathy Fulgham Parker

Drew- Mary (Kathy) Fulgham Parker, age 65, of Drew, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her home in Drew.

A visitation for Kathy will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Drew City Cemetery. Brother Rick Milan will officiate the services.

Kathy was born on January 9, 1956, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Bobby Howard and Sanya Ann Fincher Fulgham.She and her family moved to the Delta at an early age, she attended North Sunflower Academy and graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College with LPN Degree. Kathy married Rod Parker on June 6, 1972, in Drew MS, she worked with North Sunflower Hospital in various departments for over 25 years. Her hobbies included cross-stitching, cooking, and camping. She was a long-time member of West Drew Baptist Church where she played piano for many of those years. Kathy was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. One of Kathy's favorite places to be was in the presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law U D Parker, sister, Patricia Lindsey, and niece Britney Lindsey.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rod Parker, her parents, Bobby and Sanya Fincher Fulgham of Gore Springs, daughters, Kerrie Burchfield (Jeff) of Cascilla, MS, Kraig Walker (Peter) of Ruleville, MS, Son, Derek Parker (Marie) of Boyle, MS, brothers, Steve Fulgham of Gore Springs, MS, Rodney Fulgham of Shaw, Ms, Brother in Law, Stanley Lindsey of Boyle, MS, grandson Hayden Burchfield(Amie), granddaughter, Hannah Winters (Keith), granddaughter, Bri Walker (Hays), granddaughter, Jordan Bishop, grandson, Landon Walker, granddaughter, Bella Walker, grandson Brandon Parker, grandson Brady Parker, and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Phil Williams, Bubba Watridge, Dan Estes, Jessie Fleming, Ray West, and William Dees.

Memorials may be made to the Parks Family Benefit Fund at any Planters Bank and Trust Location.
