Laura Evelyn Caswell

LUMBERTON - Laura Evelyn Etheridge Caswell, age 70, of Lumberton, MS, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.
She was born on November 30, 1949, to Edward John and Willie Juanita (Hearld) Etheridge in Shaw, MS. Evelyn lived in Greenville, MS for a number of years before moving to Lumberton, MS. She was a homemaker and loved to fish and camp.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward John and Willie Juanita Etheridge Perry, 2 sons, Douglas "Pee Wee" Rule and Dewayne Rule, Sister, Evelyn Jackson, 5 brothers, Shelby Perry, Shelton Perry, Charlie Perry, Fred, and V.C. Perry.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 11:00 AM  in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at the North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Chris Gentry will officiate the services.

Evelyn is survived by her companion Wayne Cochran, of Lumberton, MS, Brother, John Etheridge Arkansas,   Brother, Jewel Etheridge of Leland, MS.  Brother, David Perry of Wiggins, MS, Brother, Johnny Perry of Vicksburg, MS.  Brother, Jimmy Perry of Benton, LA.  Sister, Ruby Perry of Bruce, MS.  Sister, Beverlene Green of Bruce, MS.  Sister, Evon Hollings of Pontotoc, MS.  Sister, Marty Roberson of Brookhaven, MS.  Grandsons, Brad Driggers of Hattiesburg, MS. Mathew and Tyler Rule of Hattiesburg and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Pallbearers are Matthew Rule, Jon- Jon Ray, Wesley Nichols, Jamie Ray,  Josh Ray, JR Carter.
Honorary pallbearers are John Etheridge (Jr), and Floyd Arbuckle.
