Louise Franklin

Louise Franklin, age 83, formerly of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2024, at Azalea Commons in Cleveland, Mississippi.

 

Visitation will be held Sunday January 7, 2024 from 1:00pm till 1:40pm at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Graveside service  will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will be held in Shelby Cemetery. Rev. Greg Chamblee will officiate the services.

 

Louise   was born May 25, 1940, in Mosby Ark. to Elbert Lee Brock, and Mildred Johnson Brock.  Louise  was a homemaker for many years. She was very much a people person, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Louise loved to travel and entertain company. If you needed it, she would take care of it.

 

Louise is preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Mildred Brock, Husband of 60 years, Willis C. Franklin, and her son Robert Franklin.

 

Louise  is survived by  her daughter Lori Johnson of Cleveland, Mississippi, her grandchildren Jacinda Lindsey (Jeff) of Cleveland, Mississippi, Bryan Johnson of Cleveland, Mississippi, Ashley Kristine Franklin of Guntown, Mississippi, and Jennifer Nicole Franklin of Memphis, Tennessee. She also leaves behind 2 sisters Barbara Bartlett of Madison, Alabama, and Sheila Lemley (Lloyd) of St. George, Utah. Louise also leaves behind a host of great great grand children

Pallbearers will be Bryan Johnson, Scott Lemley, David Bartlett, Ricky Bartlett, Austin Forbes, and Jeff Lindsey.

 

The family would like to issue a thank you to the loving care takers at Azalea Commons.

 

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Cleveland Funeral Home in honor of Louise.
