Maggie Mae Phillips

WINTER HAVEN, FL - Maggie Mae Terry Phillips, age 85, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her home. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from12:30 PM until service time at 2:30 PM at Linn Baptist Church in Linn, MS.  Burial will follow in the Linn Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Frankie Terry will officiate the services.

Maggie was born on January 24, 1933 to Ben and Lucy Angwas Terry in Blackhawk, MS.  She married Gene Phillips on August 28, 1951. They moved to Winter Haven, FL in 1976 where she worked for Bordo's Packing House (Citrus Growers). Maggie was a homemaker and took care of her children and grandchildren. She loved fishing, playing Yahtzee and camping. Maggie was a loving mother and grandmother.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Phillips.

She is survived by Daughter, JoAnn(Alton) Harrison of Haines City, FL;  Son, Joe Edward(Betty) Phillips of Sevierville, TN;  Son, Tony Curtis Phillips of Winter Haven, FL;  Daughter, Norma Jean(Chester) Young of Haines City, FL;  Son, Charles Arnold(Vicky) Phillips of Barton, FL;  Daughter, Wanda Lynn(Terry) Mancill of Bartow, FL;  Son, William Wayne(Kellie) Phillips of Winter Haven, FL;  Brother, Benny Terry of Laurel, MS;  Sister, Carolyn Terry of MS;  Sister, Lisa Terry of MS; 19 Grandchildren, 41 Great-grandchildren and several Great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
