Marvin Bufkin,

Marvin Harold "Bo" . Bufkin Jr., age 47, of Cleveland, died on Sunday November 21, 2010 at his home.  He was born on November 1, 1963 to Marvin and Joanna (Steen) Bufkin, Sr. in Greenville, MS.  Visitation will be held Wednesday  11/24/2010 noon until  funeral service time at 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, MS.  The Reverend James Wilkerson will officiate the service.He was a 1982 graduate of Greenville High School.Bo was employed by MS Valley Gas Co. for 15 years. He later owned Bufkin Gas & Lawn Irrigation Service. He was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church in Greenville. He was also a member of the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Dept. Bo was an avid hunter, a loving brother, husband, father & grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Estelle Malone Bufkin and brother-in-law Larry Chapman.  He is survived by Wife, Alice Bufkin of Cleveland, MS; 1 Daughter, Ann Claire Bufkin of Oxford, MS;  4 Sons, Marvin "Trip" Bufkin, III of Cleveland, MS, Jerry Burchfield of Oklahoma City, OK, Ricky Hopper of Indianapolis, IN and Dustin Hopper of Jacksonville, NC; 3 Sisters, Karen Miller of Crowder, MS, Laurie Shephard of Huntsville, AL and Susie Chapman of Pontotoc, MS.  and 6 grandchildren.Memorials may be made to American Diabetic Association 1701 North Beauregard St. Alexandria, VA 22311 or to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75231.Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
