Mary Frances Gentry

Glendora- Mary Frances Gentry age 78 of Glendora, MS, MS passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville, MS.

Mary Frances was born April 9, 1943, to Tobe Eugene and Bertha Carr Clark in Brazil, Mississippi. She graduated from West Tallahatchie High School. After graduation, she married A C Gentry on February 5, 1960, at Paynes Baptist Church in Tallahatchie County, MS.
Mary Frances worked as a sales representative for Aloette Cosmetics for several years. She had also worked with the United States Postal Service, a caregiver for extended family members, and at a local clothing factory. Mary Frances was a homemaker at heart raising her child Lisa and helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored. She enjoyed decorating, tending to her flower bed, and helping people when and wherever she could.
She was a member of the Cleveland Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tobe Eugene and Bertha Clark, sister, Katie Ellison brothers, Roy Clark, Troy Clark, Dwight Clark, and Terry Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years A C Gentry of Glendora, MS, daughter, Lisa Estridge of Merigold, MS, grandchildren Melissa Norquist (Michael) of Merigold, MS, Sarah Kathryn Hazzard (Peter) of Cleveland, MS
great-grandchildren, Dawson and Maycee Katie Norquist, Carter Hazzard, sisters, Louise Watson of Bruce, MS, Peggy Tutor of Pontotoc, MS, and Carol Cowsert of Banner, MS. She also leaves her special friends and caregivers Shay, Michael, and Taylor Ely of whom the family wishes to thank for their service. The family would also like to thank the North Sunflower Hospice Team for their care for Mrs. Gentry.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2021. Reverend Greg Chamblee will officiate the services.
