Michael Davis

LELAND- Michael David Davis, age 69, of Leland, MS, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS. Michael was born in Cleveland, MS on November 5, 1951, to Herman Clyde Davis and Doris Lucille Raney Davis. He attended Cleveland Schools. Michael worked as a deckhand on a riverboat for many years. After coming off of the river, Michael began working at Wade Incorporated as a Service Technician. He loved to fish and watch sports on TV. He was a quiet, kind, humble, and fun-loving man. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Doris Davis; siblings, Peggy Wood, Billy, Marvin, Mitchell, and Valda Davis. Michael is survived by his sister, Alice Davis Tribble of Greenville, MS, Brother, Bobby Davis of Greenville, MS, 3 step-siblings, Patricia Shuba of Harahan, LA, Alda Belvens of Kenner, LA, and Russell C. Davis of Pearl River, LA. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
