Milton Ray Junkin, a skilled carpenter and United States Army Veteran, passed away at his home in Cleveland, Mississippi earlier this month at the age of 75. Milton was born on March 23, 1948, to Herbert Alonzo and Shirley Mae Prewitt Junkin in Cleveland. He graduated from Cleveland High School and later attended college in Texas.
Milton took great pride in his work as a carpenter, which he practiced for most of his life alongside his brother Roy. His hard work, dedication and commitment to his craft earned him a reputation as a skilled carpenter.
Milton's parents Herbert and Shirley Junkin, as well as his brothers Roy and Allen Junkin preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Cheryl Bailey (Richard) of West Memphis, AR, and brother Herbert Junkin of Caddo Mills, TX. Milton also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will always cherish his memory.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later time. In this time of sorrow, our thoughts are with Milton's family, friends and loved ones.
The service arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home.
