RULEVILLE - Nellie Clarice Smith Collins, age 68, of Ruleville, passed away on Friday January 06, 2012 at the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Visitation will be held Monday January 9, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM  at the Cleveland Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday January 10, 2012 at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at the Indianola Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Wilkerson will officiate the service.   Mrs. Collins was born on April 09, 1943 to B. F. and Mattie (Pollan) Smith in Shaw. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1961 and married Charles Edward Collins on August 05, 1960.  She was the former owner of Lots of Love Daycare for many years. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Church of Faith. She loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Her family says she was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Donald Edward Collins.  She is survived by husband of 51 years, Charles Edward Collins of Ruleville, MS.  Three daughters, Tammy Gail Baker of LaPorte, TX, Terri Dale Smelley of Ruleville, MS, Tonia Lajoy (Chad) Smith of LaPorte, TX.  Son, Rex Edward (Ellen) Collins of Cleveland, MS.  Brother, Charles Edward Smith of Farmville, WV.  Sister, Lillie Joyce Tanksley of Indianola, MS.  7 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Pall-bearers are Vernon Tanksley, Chad Smith, Chase Smith, Travis Baker, Michael Kitchens and Gayland White. Honorary pall-bearers are Ken White and Jerry White. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or The Church of Faith 50 Elizabeth Rd. Cleveland, MS 38732. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
