Bounds and husband Randy; one sister, Ann Frazier; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
She loved being outside. As long as she was able, she had a garden filled with enough vegetables to share with the community. She loved growing beautiful flowers and having them used in arrangements at her church. Finding and planting various varieties of day lilies became a fun challenge over the years and then sharing those unique colors with family and friends gave her great joy. Her favorite hymn was “In The Garden” because that is where she felt a special closeness to God and truly enjoyed His beautiful world. She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Indywood Personal Care for their love and care during the past six years and especially to Grace Hospice and the ladies who gave around the clock care during the past several months.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 Monday, April 24, 2017 at Skene Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life service immediately following. Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Stanford, Chris Litton, Rick Stanford, Gene Barger, Billy Bland Stanford, Kevin Bounds, Scott Bounds and Patrick Fontaine.
