Ollie Bernice Gray

LAKE CORMORANT - Ollie Bernice Hemphill Gray, age 79, of Lake Cormorant, passed away on Friday December 02, 2016 at her daughter's home in Marks, MS.
 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7th from Noon until 12:40PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Graveside service will follow at 1:00PM in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS. Brother Wayne Blaylock will officiate the service.

Bernice was born on October 13, 1937 to Luther and Ollie(Wright) Hemphill in Oak Grove, LA. Bernice later moved to Mississippi. Bernice was a homemaker. Her main goal in life was to raise her family. She loved to talk on the phone to her friends and family. Ollie was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She loved to laugh and play pranks on her friends and family.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents--Luther Dawson and Ollie Ola Hemphill, a stillborn twin Larry David Blaylock, her sister Lottie Overstreet and her brother Luther D Hemphill, Jr.

Bernice is survived by Son, David Blaylock of Shaw, MS; Daughter, Lisa Russell of Nesbitt, MS; Daughter, Teresa Gamble of Memphis, TN; Son, Paul Blaylock of Lake Cormorant, MS; Daughter, Paula Lacomb of Marks, MS; Brother, Roger Hemphill of Anchorage, AK; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
