Patricia Ann McClung

CLEVELAND- Patricia Ann "Patsy" McClung, age 65, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the North Cleveland Cemetery. 

 Patsy was born on September 03, 1955, to Joel and Sylvia (Burchfield) Haynes in Kentucky. She graduated from Drew High School and went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Sociology from The University of Mississippi.  She married Nick  McClung in June of 1983.  She was a former guard trainer for the Mississippi State Penitentiary for 20 years before going to work at Wal-Mart as a stock clerk associate for some 10 years before her retirement. She was baptized in 1972 at Bethany Baptist Church. Pasty loved to paint. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed being around people and making them laugh.  

 She is survived by her husband, Nick McClung of Cleveland, MS.  Mother, Sylvia Burchfield Haynes of Merigold, MS.  Daughter, JoEllen McClung of Cleveland, MS.  Son, Donavon (Liz) McClung of Jackson, MS.  Son, Matthew McClung of Starkville, MS.  Brother, Benny (Sheila) Haynes of Cleveland, MS.  Brother, Joey Haynes of Horn Lake, MS.  Brother, Barry (DeAnna) Haynes of Cleveland, MS.  Sister, Cindy Robinson of Cleveland, MS.  and a grandson Joseph McClung. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Pallbearers are Joshua Haynes, Steven Ferri, Austin Robinson, Justin Haynes, and Zachary Haynes.
