HOLLY BLUFF- Ms. Paty Sue Travis Huff age 80 of Holly Bluff, MS passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 from 9:00 AM till 10 AM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Graveside funeral service will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, MS. Bishop Vic Johnson will officiate the service.

Paty was born October 27, 1935 to Ned and Myla Davis Travis in Rosedale, MS. She grew up in the Rosedale area and graduated from Rosedale High School. She obtained her Bachelors and Master Degrees from Delta State University. In 1958 She married Talmage Hudson in Rosedale, after his death she married Sam Huff in Holly Bluff, MS in 1989. Paty taught kindergarten and first grade at Drew and Holly Bluff, MS for many years. She loved working with children, gardening and working in her yard, sewing, making pottery and serving her church. Paty was a devoted Mormon. Her family says she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Paty was preceded in death by husbands; Talmage Hudson and Sam Huff, her parents Ned and Myla Travis and a brother Ned Travis, Jr.

Paty is survived by Four sons; Jimmy (Angela) Hudson of Holly Bluff, MS, David (Tina) Hudson of Yazoo City, MS, Patrick Hudson of Holly Bluff, MS and Timothy (Amyleigh) Hudson of Altus, OK. Two sisters; Patricia Junkin of Cleveland, MS and Ruthie (Willie) Sellers of Shaw, MS. Four Brothers; Buddy (Brenda) Travis of Boydton, VA, Tee (Laurel) Travis of Rosedale, MS, Joe (Sandra) Travis of Roxie, MS and Ray (Betty) Travis of Rosedale, MS. Sister-in-law, Nelda Travis of Lafayette, LA. 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Patrick Hudson, Timothy Hudson, Steven Cooper, James Hudson, Ryan Hudson and Rupa Kern.
