Paul Edward Jones

Mr. Paul Edward Jones, age 46, of Cleveland, Mississippi, passed away on December 8, 2024, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Born on October 26, 1978, to Paul Allen Jones and Sherri Hopper, Paul grew up in Cleveland, where he attended local schools. He furthered his education at Delta State University and dedicated several years of his working life to the farming industry. In addition, he served as a taxi driver and was associated with Cleveland Transport Service.

Paul was a man of many interests, finding joy in fishing, artistic pursuits, playing video games, and watching E-Fed wrestling. Above all, he was a devoted father who cherished his son.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: Ellis Hopper, Shirley Hampton, Billy Robert Jones, and Jeanette Gully.

Paul is survived by his mother, Sherri Hutchinson (Allen), his father, Paul Jones (Thelma), son Jacob Linn Allen Jones (Alex) of Cleveland, sister Heather Yoho (Josh) of Cleveland, step-sister Jennifer Bates of Truman, Arkansas, and special sister Stephanie Burney of Rosedale, Mississippi. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Timothy Jade Allen Yoho, Kalia Yoho, Colyn Bates, Bailee Bates, and Daisy Haynes, along with a special friend, Michael Phillips.

The family invites friends to join them for a gathering on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Fellowship Hall in Cleveland, Mississippi, to celebrate Paul's life and memory.
