Raymond "Mac" McNeer

Mr. Raymond "Mac" McNeer, age 78, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Delta Health Care Center in Cleveland. Mac was born on May 23, 1946, to Isaac and Connie Tindle McNeer in Cleveland. He graduated from Cleveland High School in the class of 1965.

Mac dedicated 14 years of his career to Waste Management and later worked as a delivery route driver for Delta Wholesale Hardware, a position he held until his retirement in 2004. He married Dana Angela Robb on April 21, 1984, and together they created a loving home.

Known for his sociable nature, Mac had a remarkable gift for connecting with people and never met a stranger. He cherished his family deeply, especially the precious moments spent with his grandchildren. A devoted member of First Baptist Church in Boyle, Mac also enjoyed watching college football, which sparked discussions and camaraderie among friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Connie McNeer; his daughter, Kathy M. Shivers; and his sister, Darlene Eubanks. Mac is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dana Angela Robb McNeer; his daughter, Raychell M. Chisolm (Jonathan) of Greenville, MS; his son, William McNeer (Pamla) of Memphis, TN; his sister-in-law, Melissa Dyche of Grenada, MS; brothers-in-law, James Robb (Janice) of Lincoln, CA, Keith Robb, Sr. (Lisa) of Cleveland, MS his grandchildren, Jase and Averi Chisolm of Greenville, MS; as well as, nieces; Dee Givens (Jon), Heather Hiott (Tim), Jennifer Robb (Roger), Emily Pearson, and Elizabeth Rabalais nephews; Jamie Killingsworth, Jamey Smith, Andy Pearson, Matthew Robb, Brasher Robb, and Robb Robb, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place on Friday at 11:00 AM in the North Cleveland Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Clarence Edwards.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews Jamie Killingsworth, Jamey Smith, Andy Pearson, Brasher Robb, and son-in-law Jonathan Chisolm and  Murry Roark. The Deacons of First Baptist Church Boyle will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mac's family during this difficult time. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
