Richard Lee Estes, Jr. age 61, of Rosedale, died on Thursday January 31, 2013 at his home.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 2, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Rosedale. Funeral Services will at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Rosedale. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Allen Robison will officiate the service.
Richard was born on October 27, 1951 to Richard and Carrie (West) Estes in Rosedale, MS. He attended Rosedale High School. Richard worked at several factories before opening Estes Plumbing and Supply Company in 1975. He retired in 2010. He was also a former Constable and Deputy Sheriff for Bolivar County. Richard was an avid outdoors-man, he loved to hunt but fishing was his passion. He was a member of the Rosedale First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Billy Joe Estes.
He is survived by two daughters, Tabitha and fiancee (Terrel Williams) Estes of Rosedale, MS. and Jennifer Estes of Ponoma, CA. 2 Sisters, Barbara (J M) Tweedle of Rosedale, MS and Jenny (Jack) Bono of Merigold, MS. Sister-in-Law, Sherryl Estes of Germantown, TN, 3 brothers, Johnny (Darlene) Estes of Rosedale, MS, Carey Estes of Rosedale, MS, and Ronnie Estes of Rosedale, MS. One grandson, Larrie "Tre'" Fitzgerald, III of Rosedale, MS. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Mike Huttson, Ike Brunetti, John Tweedle, Hunter Lamb, Calvin Estes, Woody Britt, Greg Dreher, Tyrone Jackson, Terrel Williams and Hayes Britt. Honorary pallbearers are Dino Lamb, Keary Cooper, Randy Estes, John Wiggins and Johnny Thomas.
