Sandra Weeks Turberville

BOYLE - Sandra Garrett Weeks-Turberville, age 75, of Boyle, MS, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her home.  

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Celebration of Life Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Victory Heights Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS.  Burial will be at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Buddy Wimberly and Reverend Doug Turberville will officiate the services.

Sandra was born on September 08, 1942 to Joseph Hewitt and Lovie (Welch) Garrett in Cleveland, MS.  After graduating Shaw High School, she married James Weeks in 1961. Sandra owned and operated Sandra’s Fabrics for several years before becoming the manager of Hancock Fabrics in Cleveland. After her retirement from the fabric business she taught school at Victory Heights Christian Academy until she retired in 1996. Sandra married Doug Turberville on September 06, 2014 at Victory Heights Baptist Church.
Sandra loved to sew, camp, spending time with grandchildren, gardening and shopping. Her family says she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a dedicated member of Victory Heights Baptist Church and Cleveland Optimist Club. 

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lovie Garrett; brothers, Joe Garrett, Terry Garrett and Jerry Garrett and a sister Jean Dean.

She is survived by Spouse, Doug Turberville of Boyle, MS; Son, Jimmy (Charlotte) Weeks of Coffeeville, MS;  Son, Mark (Sharon) Weeks of Shaw, MS;  Son, Joey (Lana) Weeks of Skene, MS;  Daughter, Amy Weeks (Jason) Turberville of Boyle, MS;  Brother, Tommy Garrett of Columbus, MS;  Brother, James Garrett of Eupora, MS;  Sister, Ann Thompson of Columbus, MS;  Sister, Joy Cole of Boyle, MS;  Sister, Charlotte Pittman of Vicksburg, MS; 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Step-Sons, Doug Turberville (Belinda) of Cleveland, MS and Mark Turberville (Becky) of Harold, FL. 7 Step Grandchildren and 7 Step Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Klint Fausnight, Keith Kendall, Deb Fausnight, Josh Haynes, Doug Turberville and Harvey Garrett.
