Sheila Anne Spencer Oglesby age 78 of Rosedale, MS passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Bolivar Medical Center.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 am in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery. Reverend Chris Gentry will officiate the service.

Sheila was born December 17, 1945, in Rosedale, MS to Warren and Eva Brown Spencer. She grew up in Rosedale and attended Rosedale Schools, She married Jimmie Lee Oglesby on November 7, 1964, in Rosedale, MS. Sheila spent her life devoted to raising her family and taking care of her husband. She was a funny, quick-witted lady and highly intelligent. She had a keen ability of being able to predict the Super Bowl winners each year. She enjoyed watching wrestling but her passion was loving on her children, grandchildren, and fur babies. The family always got a chuckle from stories of her driving abilities (or the lack thereof). 

She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Eva Spencer, husband Jimmie Lee Oglesby, infant sister Elawestina and grandson Adam West Savage. 

Shiela is survived by her daughters; Tasa L. Oglesby, Teresa A. Smith (Charles), Tracy L. Oglesby, all of Wrights Crossing, MS, Tanya Oglesby of Vicksburg, MS, son, Jimmie Keith Oglesby (Suzanne) of Vicksburg, MS, sister Marilyn Moore of Paducah, KY, grandchildren; 14 grandchildren: Dylan Quattlebaum, Donnie LaPresto, Michael Savage, Keith Russell, Kole Stubbs, Steven Couey, China Couey Snyder, Taylor Couey Shores, Brian Frazier, Jax Carter Oglesby, Land Oglesby, Ace Oglesby, Brandon Oglesby, Colton Oglesby, Morgan Smith, and Justin Smith. She also leaves behind 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. 


Pallbearers will be Jax Carter Oglesby, Land Holden Oglesby, Jimmie Keith Oglesby, Michael Ryan Savage, Donnie Lee Lapresto, Dylan Quattlebaum. Honorary Pallbears are, Edward Oglesby, and Warren (Spiffie) Oglesby. 

Cleveland Funeral Home has been honored with the care of Sheila's family during this difficult time.
