Sherry Lynn Bailey Cox age 69 of Cleveland, MS passed away on January 15, 2024, at her home in Cleveland, MS

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.

Sherry was born July 11, 1954, to Fannie Amelia Dunson and Fredrick Fancher Bailey. She attended Drew High School when she met and married the love of her life Guy Cox. They lived in Drew, MS over 40 years owning and operating Air Comfort Control. Sherry loved to grow flowers in her garden, travel with the grandkids to watch them play ball, go with her friends canoeing at Hardy Arkansas, and take many cruises. She was also a lover of animals working with many rescues. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends where she was always the life of the party. She was a member of Drew Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy Cox, and brother Gary Wayne (Bubba) Bailey.

Sherry is survived by her sons; Tony Cox (Eden) of Atlantic Beach, FL, Lake Cox (Crystal) of Merigold, MS, brothers; Mark Bailey of Drew, MS, Rick Bailey (Karen) of Salida, CA and a sister Barbara Ellen (Barbie) Bailey of Modesto, CA. Grandchildren; Elizabeth Murphy (Michael), Kori Cox, Jakob Cox, Braysier Cox, and Easton Cox, great grands; Shiloh and Selena Murphy.

Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with service arrangements.
