Gilse Todd Hopkins, age 31, of Merigold passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Bolivar Medical Center.  He was born on December 21, 1979 to Carradine "Jr" and Gloria Joy (Banks) Hopkins in Cleveland, MS.    Todd was a Graduate of Maranatha Christian Academy. He was employed by Resourceful Environmental Services for the past 5 years as a truck driver. Todd was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt, fish, camp and hang out with his buddies playing the guitar. He loved to spend time with his son Ethan and was a loving son, brother, husband, father and uncle. He was a member of the Church of Faith. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gilse and Opal Banks and Otis Wesley Paternal grandparents Carradine and Georgia Mildred Hopkins.  Visitation will be held Thursday April 7, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home, funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at the Lehrton Cemetery.  His Brother Chad Hopkins, Cousin Rob Banks and Rev. John Choucolli will officiate the services. Todd is survived by Wife of 7 years, Stephanie Michelle Pearce Hopkins of Merigold, MS. Son Ethan Hopkins and Daughter Shelby R. Bracken both of Merigold.  Father and Mother, Carradine "Jr" and Gloria Joy Banks Hopkins of Cleveland. Brother Mark Hopkins of Greenville, 3 Sisters Melody and husband David of Brookhaven, Melissa Hopkins Walker of Columbus, Daphene and husband Mike Hendricks of Tupelo. Brother Chad and wife Mandy Hopkins of Cleveland, and 12 nieces and nephews. Pall-bearers will be Michael Dill, Tony Hays, Jeff Issacks, Lee Hicks, Roger Dean, Benji Wooten and Michael Lamb, Jeff Humphrey. Honorary Pall-bearers will be Greg Corley, Joe Marquez, Steve Williams, David Winters, Gilbert Lopez, Mike Hendricks, J D Williams and Melvin Ayo. Cleveland Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
