Tollie Lee Sterling, Jr.

CLARKSDALE - Tollie Lee Sterling Jr., age 78, of Clarksdale, MS, passed away on Wednesday, March 04, 2020, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.  

Tollie was born on March 27, 1941, to Tollie Lee and Robbie Lee (Aderholt) Sterling, Sr. in Gunnison, MS.  He was a farmhand for Dry Bayou Farms for over 20 years. Tollie was a family man, he loved his son and his brothers and sisters. He loved to fish, watch westerns, sing, and cook for his family. His family says he was a great brother and that his son Lee was his everything. He will be missed by his many friends and family.
Tollie was preceded in death by his parents Tollie and Robbie Sterling, and a brother Johnny Sterling.

 A visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2020, from  1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  

Tollie is survived by son, James Lee (Lisa) Sterling of Clarksdale, MS. Four sisters, Alma Sue Boyd of Melvina, MS, Nora Bullard of Beulah, MS, Oma Mae Lewis of Beulah, MS, and Vivian Braxton of Grayson, KY. Three brothers, Clifford Sterling of Woodville, TX, Curtis Sterling of Titusville, FL, and Wallace Sterling of Beulah, MS. Eight grandchildren, Codee Landon Boudreaux, Devin Sterling, Mikayla Sterling, Hailey Kubiak, Brianna Kubiak, Zachery Sterling, Leland Sterling, and Payden Sterling. Two great-grandchildren, Taidyn Boudreaux and Skylann Boudreaux. 

Honorary pallbearers are Chirs Cook, Codee Landon Boudreaux, Devin Sterling, Steven Petty, Joe Garcia, and Wallace Sterling.
