Walker James Woodward

CLEVELAND - Walker James Woodward, 7 month old infant, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday November 28, 2016 at his home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1st from Noon until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday December 1st in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ken Harris will officiate the services.

Walker was born on March 31, 2016 to Nathan and Sherri(Sherwood) Woodward.  Walker was a beautiful baby boy full of life & laughter who will be forever missed by all. He was feisty, funny and mama's baby boy who loved pulling daddy’s beard. Walker attended the Boyle Church of God of Prophecy with his mom and dad.

Walker was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents Jean & Oren Woodward and his maternal great-grandparents Inez & Lawson Sherwood, Thelma & Charles Smith.

Walker is survived by father, Nathan Woodward and his mother, Sherri Sherwood Woodward of Cleveland, MS;  brother, Lawson Vaughan Woodward of Cleveland, MS;  maternal grandmother, Tobey Sherwood of Cleveland, MS;  maternal grandfather, Raymond Sherwood of Cleveland, MS;  paternal grandmother, Pam Woodward of Cleveland, MS;  paternal grandfather, Glenn Woodward of Cleveland, MS; paternal great-grandfather, Doyle Tharp of Sumner, MS;  paternal great-grandmother, Carolyn Tharp of Sumner, MS;  aunt, Emily Woodward of Cleveland, MS; uncle, Brian Sherwood(Jackie) of Cleveland, MS as well as a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
